230i 0-60 and performance mods

I was wondering if anyone here modded their 230i and documented their performance gains? I have installed a JB4 and AA downpipe and will do a XHP trans tune soon.

The car definitely comes alive with these tunes. From what I am seeing I can crack sub 5-second 0-60 times but I need to properly log it.

Surely I can't be the only one looking to mod a 230i? lol

No. No, you are not the only one looking to mod a 230i. I love the lighter-weight chassis and am looking to get 350HP/350TQ for my dream BMW coupe. Though, I think a 300+ HP/340TQ would be easy and super cool!

you are not

but 99% of people are not documenting gains, they install the mods, they can easily notice the difference and that all that matters to them

Still tweaking my JB4 settings, but pulled out my Aim Solo for a 0-60 run and ran 4.69 seconds. I'm quite happy with a well below 5 second run, especially here at over 5000 ft in elevation.

Looked at what the JB4 app reported as well. Bottom line is don't believe what it reports. For this same run it reported 4.27 seconds.

Ran out briefly at lunch this morning since it warmed up a little (made it into the 40's after 3+ days below freezing).

This is at 6000 ft on winter tires. Was able to consistently do 4.73-4.74s and 4.54-4.56 without rollout.

I'll be curious to see if things change at all in the spring/summer with warmer weather and normal tires.

In any case I am quite happy with these results

Have you added the XHP tune yet?

I don't see much in the way of commentary on it being installed on cars with the B48.
