Can anyone with a MY 2025 G42 confirm whether the thump is still there?

Yes can confirm that the thump is still there. Had my car in 3 times already and bmw claim is normal and a feature of the car. I will not accept that as an answer though.

Well, they wouldn't be too far off, it is normal with the G42...but...they should also be following protocols to replace shock. There are also following up protocols if needed. They already replaced my shock...

I heard the thump from the rear from time to time. Is this everyone talking about?

It's the Monroe rear struts.

No, as I understand it, it is the shock mount. It is fixed with the alternate part. I already ordered mine.
