Has anyone wrapped their rear diffuser so it can be gloss black on their Base 230i ??

I asked several shops and they said wraps won't stick to textured plastic. They'll only do it on painted surfaces.

I also looked into maybe painting the hideous plastic but my local body shop almost said the same thing about textured surfaces, so that too was a no go.

If I ever get rear ended (hope not), then I'll seriously consider getting the M bumper and diffuser as that looks infinitely better but too costly to do on my own out of pocket right now.

Best decision I’ve made, but if you want another option then Maxton Design has a rear valance for the base 230i that also looks nice. I just got mine, but still haven’t installed it yet.

I was looking for a third party solution as I really hate the base model diffuser. I had no idea Maxton had an option. It comes fully ready for install? Would love to hear how you found the installation to be once you're done with that project.
