Hello, my dashboard thermometer is registering 6-8 degrees higher than the actual outside ambient temp, according to my other sources, i.e. iPhone. Can that be calibrated or is the sending unit need replacement? TY! /X3

there is a lot of calculation involved in displaying the ambient temperature which can make it read differently from other sources, see info from BMW about how it works -



there isn't any calibration but there is an ista service procedure to test the functionality and it's also possible to code a temperature offset but most likely a few degrees off is normal.
