Eh, I know you're just kidding, but in reality, the increase in your cash amount won't result in higher buying power. Everyone else will have more cash as well, and prices will just increase to match that. That's inflation.

Hmm...that's why I got my used 2023 car last Aug. No problem there for me tariffs or not on 1 Feb or 1 Mar....did all my car shopping and upgrading by 31 Dec 2024 to prevent this....but do understand the pain of those that don't understand trade is a two way street and likely any tarrifs will have impacts on buyers NOT manufacturers who will pass the cost on to the consumer for said product. Thus everyone will get hurt esp if demand slows.

Agreed--comments are annoying. Real shame to have to shut down threads because of them. Other threads seem plagued with the same annoying comments. Are these annoying comments going to legislate, wholesale, how the forum should be run? Or, rather, should that conduct itself be addressed. The pareto principle may be alive and well, but perhaps we should give some critical consideration to pareto solutions. Just (the beginning) of a thought.
