Winter mats, half way through winter...
I've been meaning to get a set of these for a while, but the £90 price made me baulk a little. The BMW eBay account had a 20% offer on this week, so I bit the bullet and got them bought.
Really impressed with the quality of the mats, the fit is good as well. Wonder if I will go back to the carpet mats when the sun eventually makes an appearance....? |

They will drop out. The crease/pucker came from the transport packaging, they were slightly bent over, hence the crease. Will check tomorrow when I use the car.

I appreciate seeing this. I went with TuxMats and wish I’d done something different as you did. The TuxMats are good. Quality seems top notch and I like the look. The problem is I’ve got them attached with clips all over the place, which means when they get gross and nasty looking, it will be a PITA to remove, clean, and replace them. By definition, they’re going to collect stuff, dry, and make we want to clean them all the time, so …
Filing this in the wish-I’d-known drawer for anyone in the future. |

I have the TuxMats in our x3 M40i and like them..especially today with our recent 5+ inches of snow. We've found them easy to clean too. For the "incoming" (e.g. whenever I get an allocation!) '25 230i, I plan on CocoMats for the non-winter months and TuxMats again for winter use. Have had Cocomats in our MINI since new in 2015. Very high quality and look a bit "vintage"; just like the older model MINIs.
Just another "data point" for consideration. |
