I also found this Gap Seat Filler that has red and blue stitching to match our interiors. I'm not sure if I like it on the driver side, but it will be a perfect place for my wife to put her phone instead of on top of the iDrive controller!

EDIT: I ordered a "Carbon" one, and there is 1 left, but 4 alcantera versions left.

I got mine from AliExpress because at the time the Amazon ones weren't available.

It's fancy trimmed chicken wire with tabs welded on them. There is no reason they should be $200!

Thought about getting a second tray to try cutting out the partition between the red circles. I also thought about drameling out a hole right in front of the USB-C port and on the back side of the tray so I could run a cable under the tray and hook into the phone (Pixel 9 Pro XL). But Phone is still a bit to long for that--I'd still have to cut out the partition to make it work.

I use the cutout more as a way to keep the USB-C cord accessible for use outside the center console for my wife. She wants it more accesible. I actually just got this for her:

I could see using this to store your phone if it doesn't fit in the center console.
