i am not impressed with their performance and weighing the benefits of the reduced brake dust.

it’s interesting that many say they feel compiler to stock. i am having a completely different experience. i believe there are a couple other forum members feeling the same as me but majority think they are fine.

i will probably switch out the 2000’s
Did you end up switching out to the 2000’s? I am having the same experience as you. Much less grabbiness and a lot more brake pedal effort required until the real stopping power comes in, compared to stock. iSweep recommends against traditional bedding methods and recommends regular driving for the first few hundred miles. I did not know that at first and did a traditional bedding procedure, which actually reduced performance and glazed the pads a bit (ended up having to lightly sand the pad surfaces to “reset” them). Now they’re just back to where they were when I first installed.

I have no experience with 1500's, but Ive had 2000's twice now. I had them in my G80 M3 and now in my G87 M2.

Of course they are going to feel a little different since they are a different compound. And while I have not done a legit brake test on stopping distance. I feel the 2000's stop just as good as stock. Ive had to slam the brakes a few times on the highway because of traffic and they stopped just fine for me.

The dust reduction is hands down worth it to me. I can go a week without my wheels looking dusty. And what dust they do produce hides well on black wheels. No brown wheels here. No squeeks.

I will say this though. My 2nd set of 2000's made a pad slap noise moving from a dead stop for a few weeks. They would clunk in the caliper when I would get going from a dead stop. I had my shop look into it and regreasing them seems to have stopped that.

Im happy with my purchase. The dust and squeeling alone was my biggest grip with OEM pads.

i never switched them out. not driving the m2 much in the winter but i have say brake performance has improved with more miles. still feel much different than oem pads but im ok with the performance

i do have an issue with brake clunk noise. slow reverse and they make a pretty loud clunk.

did you use the grease isweep provided. heard they are now including small tubes. it’s a bit of work to regrease them as you basically have to do the install again. don’t have the time nor the isweep grease but that’s my only complaint. the brake dust or lack of it is amazing

Just had isweep 1500 installed and I didn't notice a difference in performance compared to stock on my way back home, didn't push it though.

I just want to confirm that if I switch out the brake pads I would not have to swap out rotors especially if I am swapping the pads shortly after taking delivery of the car, correct?

Pardon my ignorance...grease has to be applied? Where is the grease applied?

The isweep website differentiates their frictional compounds in two ways "low steel" and 'high steel". It doesn't tell us much. Which compound is used in the SEVEN options they market to consumers? How does each option effect OEM rotor wear? Watch this before trading something for nothing. I'll take all of the barely used OEM pads floating around while I'm cleaning my wheels.

The rear pads have to have grease applied at a couple of spots. The fronts don’t require grease. There are BMW service instructions on this site that have all of the details as well as the torque specs.

I now have just over 21k mi with the 1500s on the M2 & 23k mi with the 1500s on the X3MC. Pads are performing great & have plenty of life according to the tech who just performed my CBS on the M2 last week.

Stopping power in both vehicles is excellent and smooth. I've, unfortunately, had many high-speed emergency stopping situations (if you drive the tollways/interstates in TX you understand), and the vehicles stop when you need them to stop.
