Front lip installation post PPF?

Thinking of adding a front lip like Turner's or Aero's that use OEM mounting locations, 3M tape and self tapping screws, but I have the front bumper PPF'd. What are your experiences with installing a lip over the PPF considering the 3M tape and self tapping screws?

I’m thinking it would be fine but haven’t specially experienced this myself

I installed a front lip using 3M tape over the ppf. The tape doesn't stick as well to the ppf as it does paint, but that also means it's easier to remove if you have to (I did). Just be a little more careful id you remove it to not pull the ppf.

This is what I did. In fact it’s better to have the PPF done before attaching the lip.
Worked great.
