My neighbor backed into my parked 23 m240i in the our South Loop parking garage. I'll need body work and am especially concerned about paint. Any body have a recommendation for a Chicago body shop? I'd prefer to be in the city.

North Shore Auto Rebuilders in Edgewater. They are right across the street from my condo building and I’ve stopped in and visited with them numerous times. They are good people!! I haven’t used them yet, but I’m planning to have them replace my front bumper in the spring. They pretty much only do high end cars. Lots of Porsches, Audis, Mercs, and BMWs. I’ve hardly ever seen anything like a Honda or Toyota over there. It’s a super well kept facility! Never the junky, trashy look that is so common with body shops. They may be a little far from you, but they are literally one block from the Granville Red Line station. Tell them Philip sent you, the guy with the white 340i from the building across the street.

Alex from legit street cars YouTube channel used ohare auto body in Bensenville. He seems very happy with it and paint looked phenomenal from up close. There’s also good shop in Villa Park on st Charles rd that my brother used to fix his car once. Their job held very well for over 7 years. Other than that I’ve been lucky enough not having to use any good luck
