Lane Departure Warning- Steering Wheel

One of the first things I did at the dealership when I picked up my 24 was turn off the lane departure steering intervention, but I left the steering wheel vibration on (it doesn't bother me as much, but I usually default it to off). I noticed recently that the vibration is still on, and set at high intensity- but it's VERY subtle. On most roads around here, I feel rough pavement far more than I feel the vibration of the steering wheel if I change lanes without signaling, so it seems kind of useless. Is that normal, or is it supposed to be more noticeable?

Thanks in advance!

My last three BMW's were the same. Hardly noticeable on the high setting.

My last one didn't have lane departure warnings, but other rental cars I've driven with hit have been way more aggressive. The worst was a Cadillac that vibrated the seat viciously instead of the steering wheel- And you could not turn it off.

Thanks for the input.
