Two fun facts: This photo was taken right after a huge rainstorm that brought with it a mudslide from the hills above that took out our front yard. Our downtown (Walnut Creek, CA) flooded.

The old car is a '37 or so Pontiac. I was embarrassed to ride it until we nicknamed it Nellybelle (like Roy Roger's jeep). Then it was the cool car. Turns out it ran better than that piece-of-crap Plymouth what was my dad's company car. Oh how he hated that car since it wasn't GM.

Yes!! I remember taking note of the full, original tagline when I was a kid. “The Milk Chocolate Melts in Your Mouth, Not in Your Hand”. Turns out the U.S. Army was the first big customer so soldiers could have chocolate in hot climates.

My gray cells are growing out of my head. At least I still have a whole head of hair. That's not a given at my advanced age. My hair is really silver gray with not a hint of color at all. My friend calls it coffin blonde.
