91 octane or 93 octane

I was wondering which gasoline is better for the e90; 91 octane or the 93 octane? At Shell their V-Power gasoline is 91 octane... is that bad for the car?

It only requires 91 octane. I don't think 93 would make a difference.

The difference is marginal at best. Stick to the 91.

They don't offer 91 here so 93 is what I get.

Where? I've never seen it in San Diego. My WRX felt perceptibly slower after moving to Cali from NJ where I used to feed it 93.

93 octane is usually found at 76 stations. You'll have to go on their website to find the exact locations nearest you.

Gotta know where to get it bro. It's not cheap though. We're talking $6+ a gallon for higher octane.
