this is my dream house. Anyone got 12 million to spare?

How can a home sitting in the U.S. look like an authentic French chateau? Interesting story (pics no longer work tho): http://www.christiesrealestate.com/g...que_detail.htm

Here are some pics of it behind its gated entrance. I didn't take these, though I've driven by the home, and its as beautiful in person as in the pictures. Its museum quality all the way.

I like this house. The BEST part about it is that it is in Spain.

haha yeah right. i don't remember it being that big lol i thought it was like 4,000sq ft.

something more obtainable like this seems really nice, I like the layout except I would probably change the master bedroom and the walk in closet how it's on an angle. It's 2,517 sq ft

IMO the best part is the pool and the view. But the home needs more architectual elements. Not that I wouldn't take it.

The facade looks unbalanced on the right side. And a bit too vertical for me but otherwise, it'll do.

Your car is sweet! As well as your dream home. You'll need to buy more cars for that dream garage of yours.

The average home in your area is 7,000 sq ft? That must be awesome.

The garage in the back/on the side is becoming more and more of the norm thesedays. In our subdivision your garage MUST be on the side or in the rear of the house. Nobody driving down the street wants to see your garage full of crap; it detracts from the visual appeal of the home.

I for one am happy with the rules/regulations our sub has.
No basketball nets can be visable from the street, no fences around your property (unless you have a pool, and then the fence must be surrounded by trees so it's not visible), there are a bunch more that I just can't remember at the time.

I think I might be able to squeeze a bathroom, bedroom, and kitchenette for 300k in south OC...but that's pushing it.
