It used to be that if LT was not 100%, the opposing team would focus its attention to gatesy. In the last year however, opposing teams havent been able to do that with the emergence of Vincent Jackson and Chris Chambers. They're no Harrison/Wayne combo, but hey, you dont have an LT or a Sproles (remember that name). I mean, will they double team Gatesy and leave VJ/CC open for 1v1? You saw what happen last weekend against the donkeys when they gave VJ the 1v1.

Believe me, I know who Sproles is. (See above post) I agree, V. Jackson is a beast, but can Rivers throw from his back as that's where Freeney and Mathis will make sure he will stay!

Chargers vs Colts games have always been very close throughout the last few years so it's difficult to predict a sure winner in this match up; but I think that the Colts are just too hot right now and Dungy, along w/Bilicheck, are the best coaches in the league and always has his players prepared for a game no matter the circumstances so Colts>Chargers.

Spoken by a fan however rewatch the game. You will see that it was one of the better most consistant ref'd games. Yes there are some referee groups that wouldn't of called some of those however both teams knew before going in that this referee team calls everything.

Every call was 100% dead on except for the Colts fumble. On replay you could clearly see the ball popping out about one 'tick' or 'frame' before the knee hit. Even then it was too close to overturn the decision on the field.

How many times does a Dungy coached team have to play an opponent in the playoffs before it can beat them? It took Dungy's Colts many years to learn how to beat the Pats. Now it's the Chargers. Dungy has to be a pretty bad coach IMO in the postseason - like Marty! Belichick I can understand being better, but Norv Turner?? Dungy needs to truly retire like Favre. He needs to write books - and not about football. Cover 2 doesn't work anymore.. Also the STUPIDEST play on 3&2 with 2:30 left, Chargers 0 timeouts, and Manning lines up to pass...Wow! At least PRETEND you may hand it off....

i just think something has to change when an 8-8 team makes the playoffs but an 11-5 team does not.

12 teams make the playoffs. the pats were tied for the 6th best record in the NFL but they did NOT make the playoffs.

btw, i hate the pats...but i just think that is strange.

It sucks they didn't make it but they did horrible in their division unfortunately. They had like 6 chances for other teams to win/lose specific games to get them in and got zero help.

The pats would play much better than the stinkfest the Dolphins is showing the world right now. Enjoying every minute of it though...
