like ppl that have chimed in. I think the front looks very aggressive and well done. But the butt is just too big and heavy looking. So i guess junk in the trunk isn't a good thing in this case.

Best they get over it however, because they are going to get their asses kicked left, right and centre.

Kind of interesting. An "entry level" 135i that will absolutely crush an "upper scale" 528i and then consider the price difference (I know, it's not only about power and handling). Not quite 2 years ago, my neighbour bought a 525xi and thought that he had a powerful (6cyl) beast on his hands. I told him it was a nice car but that the upcoming N54 engine in the 3 (and to appear in the 5) would change the lineup considerably. He just didn't get it and now after hating the N54 in my wife's 3 is absolutely mortified that it's in the 1.

Fuckin right doggie!!
This car is going to kick soo much ass... I have always liked the styling of the cts' but i just couldn't wrap my mind around the idea of driving a geriatric(forgive me but there is far worse i have heard caddys called..) so i am stoked about the coupe. |

Its definitely better than the vast majority of American cars currently on the market. But I prefer more subtle designs, not the brash, in your face styling that Cadillac seems to have embraced. The CTS looks good from the front and sides but the rear is a disaster. It looks sporty but then when you get to the back it looks like a car someone who is 80 would drive (no offense if you're 80, if you're on here you probably aren't the typical 80 year old anyway).
It would be great if American brands could produce cars that look as good as some of Ford's European offerings (for example compare the European Focus to the hideous American version). I don't know why, but the Americans just can't seem to get it right. I guess maybe its because they're playing to their audience, which I'm sorry to say is IMO much less sophisticated than the Europeans.
