GT5 car/track list

Offical list for GT5 prologue for the US. We also get the "High Speed Ring" track, but no nurburgring. Hopefully they'll update the scenery for GT5 version, including all the new graffiti...

Also offically on the list are the 135i and the tii.

Conspicuously absent are porches and the new M3. Would love to race a cayman s v. tii v. new M3, be a tight battle.

The video clips I have seen thus far make me want to consider a PS3. Hard me to justify though when I would only use it to play GT5. Maybe if I think of it as a blue-ray player...

Yep, it supposedly makes a good Blu-Ray and is the only player currently produced that is known to be upgradable to profile 2.0.

I have a 360 and have been considering the PS3 just for Blu Ray (and maybe for GT5. )

gt5 and god of war in addition to blu ray would make it worth it.

What about MGS?

The new logitech leather wheel w/ force feedback, three metal pedals w/ feedback, and a shifter + GT5 makes it a genuine driving simulator.

I'm using GT4 w/ the regular controller and feel like I'll be much more comfortable on the nurburgring next month. I can only imagine what GT5 will be like... I have a 60" 1080p HDTV, can't wait.

Thats what drew me into forza 2 intially. I really enjoyed GT4 but was not happy that they didn't include ferrari or porsche. This is a step in the right direction.

The omission of Porsche is due to Electronic Arts securing the exclusive rights from Porsche to be the only game maker able to feature Porsche's lineup officially. They are featured in EA's Need For Speed series.

However, there have been Ruf porsche's in past GT games and hopefully they make it into final version of GT5.
