Resizing images on a Mac.

I recently took some pics of my car and uploaded them on my Mac. My issue is that I have no way of getting them resized to fit within the forum guidelines. No MS Paint to do that 1-2-3 for me.

Any recomendations?

host the pics on a site like Photobucket.com they can resize to your requirements and it takes some of the load/bandwidth off the 1adicts site.

If you open 'em up in Preview, you can resize them with Tools -> Adjust Size.

When you say resize, I assume your refering to kb size.
From iPhoto:
1. Select the picture(s) you want to resize.
2. Under the File tab at the top choose Export.
3. In the Size box check the "Scale images no larger than; (use something like 740X586 or ?)
4. Export to desktop or folder or ?

You might as well correct your color balance, crop, feather, sharpen edges, create slide shows, etc., etc., etc., as well as resize your photos. In which case, you should grab the free download of Graphic Converter. It's almost like a freebie PhotoShop for the Mac, and it will open and convert virtually any graphics format.

Iphoto does this. It came with OS Tiger, if you got Leopard then get a copy of Adobe Lightroom.

There is a Dashboard widget named Image Shackle. Just drag and drop and punch in the size.. that's it! Very easy to use.
