best four-door sedan

i would love to hear from you lot on what you think is the "best" four-door sedan,
without considering price as a factor,
that fits the following description:
1. as fast as possible
2. as small as possible
3. automatic 'box
4. not FWD
5. as well-made as possible

Lots of options.

The M3 would have to be near the top of the list for me. What's the point of having a four door that's "as small as possible" though?

Does it only have to have 4 doors, or does it also have to have a sedan-like shape? Would you consider 4 door coupes (CLS, Panamera)?

Do automated manuals (SMG, DCT, DKG, etc.) count as automatics?

I would have to vote the Maser, but at over 2 tons, it ain't exactly "as small as possible."

interesting choices guys! the m3 dct sedan is very tempting. i am also keen on the m5 but hear horror stories about it from owners. russo, you mentioned the rs6 in sedan form, do you have it in the us already?!
