Baltimore and Pittsburgh are pretty evenly matched. I would not be surprised either way.
I would like Ed to get a ring though.

Rugby players are starting to wear pads and helmets now too... While I think it would be a Pit vs Phi Superbowl, I will be rooting for Ari, these are going to be some great games. Arizona has shut down M. Turner and D. Williams, can they keep it up against Westy? And Pit vs. Bal will be a QB story, Big Ben won the Superbowl as a rookie, now hes the vet., and another rookie QB (Flacco) is trying to do it...

Stew, I hope you didn't put money on the games. You were 1/4!
Anywho... Eagles vs Steelers. Eagles take it. Just something about Hines Ward I dislike. He's got a sneaky smile or something. I can't figure it out yet.

I was pulling for the Giants to win. I like Manning and Tom Coughlin was my hometown team's previous coach (Jaguars). I don't care for McNabb. Did anyone see that egotistical move he made when he picked up the phone when he was forced out of bounds on the Giants' sidelines. What a jackass.
So I'm hoping the Cardinals will send them back to Philly. I was elated to watch the Titans lose. I'm not a Ravens fan, but I'm much less of a Titans fan. In the matchup between the Ravens and Steelers, I'd like to see the Ravens win. The Steelers' backup QB is Byron Leftwich. He used to be the Jags' QB. He was a crappy QB most of the time and didn't seem to care. I don't want him to get a Super Bowl ring, so I'll be pulling for the Ravens. But it's kind of the lesser of two evils in that one. And in the Super Bowl, GO CARDS!

No prob, I dont play either sport haha just thought that was a good comparison and contrast of the two sports by someone who played both.
When I think of rugby, I always think of that one episode of Friends when Ross tries to play rugby to impress his girlfirend...haha

As far as the Cards go. Say bye bye. They will get crushed by the Eagles. Kurt Warner won't know what hit him. The game won't be close. The Cardinals won't be able to run on the Eagles. The pressure the Eagles front will bring on Warner will force 2 turnovers minimum. |
