HELP! Should I get this? Please advise...
Hi,
I am looking to get into a E90 3 series and someone is offering me the following deal: 2006 325i 52k miles for $16,000. Car has the following options, Premium package, leather, bluetooth, automatic transmission, auto seats but no sports package and no xenon. This is a one owner car, all highway miles, super clean carfax, manufacturer's recommended maintenance performed at 38k and 49k miles. Car does not have BMW's warranty. Is this a good deal and should I go for it? Is there something I should be looking out for in terms or reliability and maintenance? I want to keep this car for maximum two years, no longer than that. If I drive it about another 20k miles, and sell it, how much do you think I'll be able to get back?... HELP! I need some advise from experts like you! Thanks! |

The 325i is a solid car. If you plan to keep it for only two years then it seems like a reasonable deal. Have it inspected by a reputable independent or a BMW dealership. Have you checked on KBB or Edmunds.com to see if the asking price is fair?

Pass. Look for a sport package model with xenons. Personnally I'd much rather look for a E46 Performance Package sedan. Interiors are much nicer on the E46 than E90...especially sport seats on both.
