I thought the same thing. Not a lot, just the belt line. I like it a lot. Fact of the matter is, the Vette is a sexy design, and if it cost 3 times as much people would drool over it all day long. It's just so common you get used to it. |

ehh...I think the F430 is the best looking car in the world, not sure this design is as beautiful. Also whoever did the PS left some enormous fender gaps, like the wheels need to be 4 inches bigger or something

I absolutely love it. Retro yet modern IMHO I see some throw backs to some of the earliest ferraris with swooping curves.

That shit is UGLY!!
WTF?!! The 355 was a beautiful car. The 360 was even better. The 430 was GORGEOUS and absolutely out of this world but... this.... This shit is NASTY! If the production model looks like the chop, I'm gonna really be disappointed. The F430 is the most beautiful supercar on the market, IMO. If they screw this up.. wow.. 1st the California.. now this shit?? Gross. |

Looks like they have gone with a classier everyday subtle GT like design instead of hard core aggressive which is what ferrari is all about.
F430 = insane and has 1000x more presence then the new car has. Im really not impressed, i hate nearly everything about that rendering up top except that the rear is probably going to look really good.

Hmm. Looks like an evolution of the 360 and 430, with the front air dam scoops (which I didn't like on either of those cars). The 355 was the last mid engine Ferrari I liked the looks of. But in the flesh, I think I might like this one more than the last couple. Smoother, with a little more greenhouse (and possibly better visibility). I agree about the mirrors, however. They look way too big and out of place.

Unlike everyone else, I'll hold all judgement until I see more concrete photos.
The "R8" chop is just bad, but gives a reasonable idea. Some have said the rocker panel isn't even the actual rocker panel that will be on the car. Plus the front and rear is missing so who knows how exactly it will look. It looks a lot wider than the F430 though. And I like that. |
