my alma mater is junk mail king
i graduated about 4 years ago and they just bombard me with all kinds of junk mails, which all amount to "send us some money" when i say mail, i meant both email and postal mail...
i mean, come on. once or twice a year is okay but almost every other week or so? does ur alma mater do that too? is this a new trend? |

My favorite was a letter that said, almost verbatim: "If you donate now we will not bother you as much."

The junk mail counter is low for WSU grads, but every now and then someone determined person will call repeatedly trying to get cash it takes about 3 nos before they throw in the towel.

Yup I've received a few of those. I mean if I was loaded then sure but at the moment, I will keep the money to myself. There was a couple who graduated from my CSU, started a successful business, came back a decade or two later and donated $10 million to the school. I'm hoping to do something like that someday.

I used to get calls from RU asking for more money like every two weeks. Thank god I ended up moving and not giving them my updated phone number, bastards still send letters every now and then though.
