My first visit to an abandon asylum. Went with a few urban explorers and other photographers. Such an awesome place!

My wife used to teach at a local college not long after it was converted from its prior function as a mental institution. Before they refurbed it into a happy modern pastel campus there were corners that looked very much like some of your pictures. The old morgue with the sloping floors and the big drain in the center, beds with straps... the dark side of sunny Southern California, and a really creepy, lonely place to visit after dark.

LOL... I shot a reality show up there in Camarillo.... Creepy place, parts of it are still very asylum-esque. Go figure that they would turn it into a college.
