Anyone had their Costco membership cancelled because...

you refunded products too much? I heard that Costco is doing it right now. I heard that they will cancel your membership but refund your membership money back or something. No, it never happened to me but I think it's really pathetic because Costco never has a contract that you have to follow for too many refunds for products that you purchased.

I heard one guy at Costco bought a lot of food but he didn't like it. So, he did a lot of refunds on the food products. Then, the manager just gave him a refund on his membership, which was basically cancelling it. The manager told him never to come back.

I heard other stories too. I think Costco service is going downhill and their prices aren't the best for anything unless you live in a really small town with nothing but a Costco. Don't forget, Costco will kick you out of the store if you sample too much food.

I guess legally they have every right to do that, not base on the returned food, but on the fact that costco reserved the rights to cancel any memberships at anytime. It is a private "club" after all.

I hear Janet Jackson is a lesbian, and has scissored Hillary Clinton. I also hear that the next 3-series is coming with a V10 producing 672 BHP, and i also heard from the same person that it will have a feature where the exhaust is transformed into rocket thrusters.

I also hear many other things, if you get my point.

I'm glad. Costco has been way too lenient with their return policy and many people have taken advantage of it. I've seen a guy returning a box of cookies and ATE several while standing in line, a lady returning a partially eaten chicken, etc.

Since there's no restocking fees, some people even buy cameras and such to use for one or two occasions and return them.

I had a friend who once bought a laptop from Costco and every year or so he would return it and bought a newer version... After 6 years (and 6 laptops) Costco noticed this and terminated his membership and banned from getting a new one.

This is nothing new. If you abuse the system they employ, you probably dont deserve to use it.

Anyone else noticed the OP's disproportionately high number of Costco OT threads?
