I currently hold a PA license. I got my license when I was under international student status. I hold a Portuguese passport and have a valid F-1 student visa. I plan to finish up my degree in Hong Kong thus will no longer have the I-20. My license expires in october. Can I renew it? I tried an auto tag place to get my photo cars but they told me that they don't handle international students there. If I can't renew it, can I still buy insurance w/o a US license? I can get an international driving permit. Can I even get my cars registered w/o a US license? I do own property in PA. My parents bought a house there when I was in school there. I also own property (in my name) in Canada. Can I get a license there instead? I do have 2 cars with PA titles and plates which I rather like let alone quite pricey. My passport is under the visa waiver program which allows me to freely enter the US 3 months at a time and I do plan to spend my holidays in the states and canada. What can I do how?
