hackintosh here, I prefer to build small desktops with good gpu's and cpu's, apple does not really offer anything for me at the moment. Maybe someday they will come out with something between a mac mini and a mac pro

+1 OS is really easy to use, but the lack of power really puts me down....you can always run unix w/ OSX though :P

You might want to try resetting the System Management Controller. Different models have different ways of doing this. Check out this apple support article:

OS X is Unix, if you are running OS X, you are running on Unix.

Macbook Pro! Love it!

I had a PC but it crashed on me.. so all I have is this Macbook...
Its all i need for now till i get a new place..

Mac user since 2003, and just moved from a 2006 Quad Mac Pro to the new 21.5 iMac and loving it. Totally silent and much less heat pumped into the room. Nice machine.

13" Macbook pro and iPhone 3Gs owner, checking in.

I have been using PC my whole life, and honestly, it is so much easier and pleasant to use a Mac. Things are much more user friendly and things just seem to work better on a Mac. I can't even begin to name all the headaches that I have had as a result of something going wrong with a PC for me over the years.
