Torchlight is a action RPG in the same style as diablo, though the graphics and game as a whole are much lesser of what Diablo will be there still seems to be some fun to be had.

The game will have 3 classes, and be single player only for its initial release on Oct. 27th. In 1-2 years they will release a MMO version that will include more classes as well as multiplayer. The artwork doesn't look bad, alittle toonish but fun. This game is basically the reincarnation of Mythos for anyone that followed that.

I'm definately going to play it. Seems like alot of fun and there has been alot of positive words spoken on it.

Torchlight is out. Got it off Steam.

Definately a great short term diablo fix. I've had a fun time playing it. It is single player only, however there is a full toolkit with free downloadable scenarios.

The pic above is a bit dated, if anyone wants I can post a screenshot of the current game when I get home tonight. Plus a character with a bit better gear.

site is kinda F'd up, does this game play on Macs?

EDIT: it appears to be PC only

Not bad at all. Really looks like Diablo 3... should help scratch the gaming itch for a while.

Download the demo, game is awesome.

This is from the *real* makers of Diablo fools, the Blizzard North team.

The game has the best Diablo feel to it of any clone. Will definitely tide me over until DIII and additionally, the developers released all the tools so there will be a large mod community!
