Regardless / Irregardless

So I've been saying "irregardless" for a while now... although I admit it to be wrong and I am putting an effort into saying "regardless" now.

I have noticed a lot of people say irregardless

so which do you say?

There's no such word as "irregardless"

The other one that bothers me is when people say "very unique" - something is either unique or it isn't. There are no degrees of uniqueness.

This is a GREAT thread. So many people use malapropisms that it gets to be ridiculous! Kudos to the OP for making the effort! My boss uses the wrong word constantly, and his favorite one is supposively... Drives me nuts! Another one is the phrase "I could care less." It should be "I couldn't care less," but so many people say the other without even realizing they are saying the opposite of what they mean!

Makes the person sound like an ignorant asshole.

Misunderestimate! But, I've never head anyone say that besides W.
