It wasn't dark. I didn't know what to think. It felt like I hit a curb but I was in the middle of the road. I thought my axle broke or something real bad but then I gave it some gas and the car felt fine so I was pretty confused.

Nikki, hope you not reading this. I think the snake was sleeping somewhere under your car and when you drove off, it freaks out and jumps off the car and that when fate struck the creature.

That reminds me of my second trip to Kenya. Another tour came back into camp with a cobra sitting on top of the gas tank (under the truck). They had watched it slither under the truck but not back out. Then the "leader" of the group tried to get it off the tank so he could capture it and release it outside of camp. He eventually did capture it but not until after the cobra spat in his eye. Cobra 1, Leader 1.
