i have park distance control, it's only for the rear, and it won't bring you to a 2-3'' precision gap

Yeah my cousin has a couple tied into his garage door. If you have a liftmaster, they sell them.
I think they're allright. They stay on constantly and just points a small beam into your car.
I think his is off for some reason. Tennis ball trick is cheper although it may look funny.
I just use a couple of items in my garage to guage where I am and where I'm supposed to stop... any GOOD driver should be able to do that without gimmiks

I have this thing from Brookstone. Works well..

A long time ago I bought one for my mom. She used to pull in until she hit the work bench and then would back up a little. It worked well for her, so I bought one for myself. I've been meaning to take a video of it sometime..

They didn't wire it up to come on when the garage door light comes on just like most garage door opener has? Stupid if it has to stay on constantly which drains electric and puts wear on the laser elment...

I use:

http://www.amazon.com/Tire-Park-Stop...8&s=automotive

works great. I use it because my truck has about 2 inches in front, and 3 in back to spare...

I always figured that anything powered by battery will fail, then I will hit the wall... KISS... Keep it Simple Stupid... thats my motto.

Mine gets me under 6 inches and more than 2 every time. Of course if you don't back into your garage I could see an issue.

I have 2 of these, one for each side for each car. They work great. The laser red dot points to the trigger spot you pick, so each time you park you can aim the dot for about the same spot.

the tennis ball didnt work for my wife, and this sure won't. One time the damn string was at a 10 degree angle. I told her not to park in the living room and to watch that darn ball!
I love her none the less
