The reason most people flood/hydrolock their cars is because they create a wave and slosh water up into the motor or electronics, however she was not moving so the water level was just covering the bottom of the motor, and thus it was ok. She was also smart (or maybe just by luck) by going very slow and not creating any more of a wave up front than absolutely necessary. She was a smart chick. Too bad the interior still got soaked just from her being so wet, but hey, she got the car out.

Like one of the comment in the YouTube video that was no 335i. The 335i comes standard with a sunroof and that car had none. Nevertheless, good for her to get her car out of this predicament.
My X5 would have laughed at this flood. |
