Only sold on saturday starting at 8 a.m. Probably need to be there by about 10 a.m. - some items were starting to get depleted by 10:30
Building has about 1/2 dozen picnic tables in side and probably 6 more outside.
Pit is a large steel tank of appox 500 gallon and 15' long. Oak wood is used. Firebox is in one end and smoke outlet at the other end. Pit has at least 8 temp gauges on the front side. Each side of the pit has three large access doors that have cantilevered weights for reduced strain.

Meat is served on butcher paper with white bread. Tea is 1.25$ and canned softdrinks are sold. Beans are available free from a 5gal pot.

1lb of brisket
1/2 lb sausage
1/2 lb pork ribs
1/2 lb pork bbq

Very little outer char but varies depending on slice.
Large smoke ring >.25"
Brisket thinly sliced untrimed - some slices on fatty side but easily removed to amount of personal preference
All slices very moist
good flavor/ slightly salty (would rate it VG aside from the excess salt)

Probably not the best sausage I have tasted. I personally preferred city market sausage in Luling - http://texasbbqtrail.com/luling.php

Pork ribs
Very large - moist with good flavor.

BBQ pork meat
Very good. Very moist (but pork is just not my thing)

BBQ chicken
DID NOT TRY - but it looked good.

E90post addition - I let my BBQ riding buddy (who owns a e46-328) drive the last 25 miles back - wow-Wow-WOW He then proceeded to carve traffic enough to have the local PD looking for me later ...

Hell yes brother

The bond between a man and his smoker/grill is sacred. I started using hardwood lump charcoal (no binders/fillers, just wood) lit with newspaper. It's amazing.
