Does this bug anyone else??
Looking through some exotics. The GT2 is an incredible car. But I don't like how the rims on one side, the spokes point forward, and on the other side they point backward. For that kind of money, couldn't they have made the wheels different parts? I know BMW Exec might agree with me.. I think the top pic the turbo twist wheels look great. The bottom one just doesn't look right. It's like having your underwear on backwards.. Sorry, thought I was creating this to off-topic, feel free to move..

I know... I remember having a cheap set of American Racing Ultra rims about 15 years ago, and they were actually directional... So, there was right rims and left rims with different part numbers.

I'll take it just like that without complaint.
But I agree, the directional wheels look good on the driver's side and awkward on the passenger side. You'd think Porsche could spring for two of each. |

Are you kidding me>? This is the first time you are noticing this? Porsche has been doing this for decades. Pretty much every commercially made car with directional wheels are the same on both sides, especially exotics. Check out the Mercedes SLR for example. This has always bugged me.

No. I've noticed this on several cars...
I just wanted to inquire whether or not I was the only one who was irritated by this...

I see your point and having a slight case of OCD, it would bug the crap out of me too. But then again, the GT2 is meant to be driven and I doubt that if you were behind the wheel, you wouldn't give a second thought about your wheel spoke pattern. We should all have such problems.

Speaking of wheels, out of curiosity, would anyone happen to know the weight of GT2 wheels in particular?
