It appears this guy manage to find a section of guardrail that the end of it did not have blunt end or was not secured into the ground. This used be common place with guardrail piercing a car.

the seatbelt comments still amuse me. 'the driver was not wearing a seatbelt'. Preeetttyy sure in this case that wouldn't have done ANYTHING.
