Flashing or Moving Sig

What program or what do I need to do to make one of those cool sigs with the headlights or background that flashes? is it a gif or something? I'm using mac os.

Theirs a lot of programs out their. But i like Adobe Imageready. Im running it on my macbook pro.

yes they are gifs, use photoshop and imageready

be prepared for a helluva steep learning curve

Animated GIFs are a pain in the ass... but worth it in the end.

macbook pro ftw!! which one do u have? I have the 15" w/ 2gigs of ram in it

I have the 15" as well. Only 1 gig of ram though

. i really need to upgrade it but i have two 512's so if i want to up it to 2 gigs, i need to sell my 2 512's first.

by the way you can use this as your sig if you want (the "flashing" part of the titel made me think of this)
