At 2'23" he bottoms out, sparks flying from touching down. This type of course was what the E30 excelled at, with its precise steering feel.
Funny how when the car came out, the boy racer style was not universally well received. Now it is revered. I drove my E30 M3 more miles than any other BMW I owned. It was not the cheapest to maintain. I remember the engine needed TLC, and I remember replacing parts that were not cheap. My personal favorite BMW, was my 95 E36 M3 LTW (Lightweight). Superbly setup out the door. Worst feature, no A/C, which I had to fix. My E21 6 cyl 323i was also a blast. Shame BMW never officially brought the car over. Hard to find any decent you tube clips. I seem to remember in '81, when I got the E21 323i, there were no offical US 6 cyl 3 series cars. In '88. when I got the E30 M3 car, the only non 6 cyl US BMW 3 series was the E30 M3 4cyl car.
