BIMMERPOST NEWS Geneva 2011 BMW Wrap-Up Well folks, we're all done here at the 2011 Geneva auto show and hope you enjoyed the coverage as much as we enjoyed sharing it with our community. Geneva is always an exciting show because of all shows, it's arguably the largest in the world and always features an unrivaled number of exotics and tuning companies on display. Geneva is also traditionally one of the most important shows for BMW due to its proximity to BMW's home market and prominence among the auto show circuit events. This year again featured several debuts of BMW models, packages, and technologies, as well as plenty of aftermarket tuner BMWs. As a show wrap-up, we've summarized our coverage below, enjoy! Alpine White 1M Coupe We have touched down in Geneva and took a stroll around the booths. The official press annoucements from BMW aren't until tommorow, but we did manage to get some photos of a beautiful 1M in Alpine White minding its own business. The car is still 'semi' ... According to the front page of m3post.com....
The F10 M5 concept will bow at the 2011 Shanghai show in April (don't be surprised to see an internet reveal sometime prior) and the production M5 is expected to premier at the 2011 Frankfurt IAA autoshow in September. Euro deliveries will begin in November 2011 and US deliveries begin in Spring 2012.

The Shanghai show will be a huge event for BMW... With a full compliment of BMW M Vehicles and huge presence for the World Premiere of the M5 Concept Car . Chinese market BMW 5er Li Electric model and the
new BMW 6er Coupe.
