Holy shit is the above demonstration weaksauce. They neglected to throw in a Subaru to see how it would perform compared to the rest. Besides... they chose a rear wheel to have traction? Try doing it with a front wheel and you'll see a different result.
Just sayin... ^^NOW that's a better test. |

Once the system detected slippage of one wheel it would clamp the brake on the spinning wheel which will send power to the one on pavement. The result would be exactly the same.
