Mystic Cobra - don't miss it one bit. Realize now what I was missing the last 10 years I've been driving / modifying mustangs.

Car only had 6k miles on it (1996 model year). Always got compliments on the paint and the sound of the car (really did sound wicked). Paint could be very subtle or could be pretty dramatic green, gold purple in the sun. Even turned midnight blue under fluorescent lighting. Not obnoxious like some of the chameleon paints, but definitely an attention getter. But I kind of outgrew it. Plus, mustangs handle like crap (unless you sink $5k or more into elaborate suspension setups) and the interior was a disappointingly successful experiment to see if they could make every part out of cheap plastic.

I've had my share of smiles and tears over the past few years w/ my cars.
My '04 Volvo S60R....heavily modded and just barely slower than my V2 335. I purchased it from a tuning shop in Dallas that made custom parts for the car w/ the intention of selling them on the open market....not all of them made it. I still got to enjoy it though . With different wheels and My '69 Camaro SS Pro-touring. Story is too long on this one, I've posted it before....... Ripping the front tires off the ground once I got traction After

love the volvo. looked at 'em when I was making the switch but couldn't find many parts to mod it and knew I would get frustrated!

they are out there! You just need to look. IPD, Evolve (), Heico, BSR, etc all make parts for the Volvo's. I had IPD, Heico, and custom parts on mine. It was around 400hp w AWD. Of course the 335 trumps it big time w/ just a piggyback. I still miss the sound of that exhaust! 3" fully coated straight back from the turbo w/ only a resinator.....spitting fireballs all the way!

A really bad garage fire that ended up totalling 3 cars and countless family belongings including my grandfathers olympic medals. I had the car stored in my parents garage as I did not have a garage of my own at the time.
Check out the picture I posted of it in the junk yard....the rear wheel is melted away. Ridiculous. edit: found a better pic Miss that car every day. here is the whole story: http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24158 a taste

Haha.. I was looking through your shots and thought to myself.. wow, somehow the background just looks familiar (even though it's just a generic looking parking lot and a dealership that could look like any other BMW dealership).. then I realized you're located in Boston too!
