I saw this picture and thought, how close [to the original] could I take this picture on GT5..

The original picture is a Audi R10 TDi 2006 at Circuit de la Sarthe at the last chicane before the finishing line:
< Reality

< Gran Turismo 5

Now, it would of been more accurate if PD had a Circuit de la Sarthe 2005 with time change, but this will do.
I'm still impressed how realistic it looks.

Wow, that is so incredible looking! Its so damn close to the real life photo.

One thing I did notice was the brand new mountain that appears in the background of the GT5 photo. Le Mans is very flat, so not sure how GT5 managed to stick a mountain back there.

Yeah that is weird. They've never been really good with scenery I guess.

I shoot in Panning Mode 3, which tracks the car instead of the environment. I also hit the square button to focus on what area I want sharp.

2 of those shots above use the Miniature filter, which blurs some areas, and sharpens others. The middle shot I just used the Warm filter.

This was really my first GT5 photoshoot(s) in a few months... I'm pretty satisfied with what I got so far. More to come once I do more light edits to them.

So I had another go recently, and I think it's my best photo shoot yet. Thoughts?

Nice. I love the rewind feature now. It makes it a lot easier to get the backfire shots now.

Thanks, and it does. But the biggest problem I still have is getting the fire to show up on camera. I perfectly timed a few backfires on this shoot and I only got that one to actually freakin show up
