Today is 2 weeks for me at Final Assembly. It is numbing to think how fast 2 weeks went by, and nothing. I just called Genius and was told the car is still at the factory awaiting ship assignment.

As far as I know from my original VIR, I get transported to Brunswick, GA. I was seeing a WW ship (Morning Cello) scheduled for 7/7 at Veracruz that now seems rescheduled for 7/12. Hoping maybe this is my ride ?

That's the ship I had been looking at, and when I saw it departed VeraCruz is when I figured I'd call Genius, which was yesterday to see if I was on that vessel but they had no info for me. I was a little bummed out because I couldnt see anything arriving soon and thought it might be another 3-4 weeks before it got picked up. But this is great news now!! ALMOST THERE!!

I’m in/on the same boat. I’m told they will call me to schedule the PCD once BMW offers some dates. Is that your situation or do you already have your date schedule for the PDC? I hope this doesn’t delay things too much.

To expand a little on this, I talked to Genius earlier and was told that Glovis Spirit departed on 07/05 and has an ETA of 13 days. I believe my car is getting off at the Baltimore Port and was told it should be "on the east coast" by 07/17

Whoops. I misread that. Looks like I have some digging to do tonight to find when it's coming to NY (and I need to make sure I'm actually on it).

Congrats guys! High fives for enduring this painful wait. I switched to awaiting carrier assignment today, but I'm pretty sure it's on Harvest Leader already heading to port Hueneme (system is delayed couple days). JUST ONE MORE WEEK! Can't believe it's finally happening woohoo!

Reubard 1st mentioned it was scheduled to ny/nj port on 7/18. That's when I called genius to make sure I was on the same boat and said I was with the same date of expected arrival to port. I believe all cars that have nypoa get dropped off at the nj port Bayone.

Yeah,I’m doing the same thing! I keep waiting for it to leave and it just isn’t moving! We should have drove there and got it ourselves over the weekend. Smh lol

We’re on the same ship! My status jumped from Ready for Transport to At the Port. Just got off the phone with a Genius, he said my car is on the Harvest Leader and left the dock yesterday. It has a docking date of 7-11!

I just called Genius. Not a great conversation like last time, but I did manage to find out my car is on Glovis Spirit and it's scheduled to arrive in Newark (NYCPOA) on 7/18!!!!!

Feel yah man. I also got pushed out twice before finally going into status 150. And they were long waits too. 1st time was something like 5 weeks, then got pushed out again another 7 weeks. I even almost just ended up buying one I found on a lot because I wasn't confident I would start that 3rd time but it eventually did so I decided to wait for it to finish being built.

I'd say it's going to be a good 5 almost 6 months from start to finish.

I was told we won't get a date until after the Performance Center receives delivery. When I called yesterday, I was told the car hadn't been processed yet and there wasn't an estimated delivery date in the system yet.
