So Veracruz only loaded 2031 cars, not the 3000 we anticipated. And Altamira loaded 842 cars. What's interesting to me is that only 2k cars ended up in Veracruz which consisted of build weeks 39, 40 and part of week 41. And then the Cardinal loaded some cars from Altamira in Oct, and then the Condor took some in November, which maybe got the week 41s remaining and week 42. I think I saw someone say the Toronto picked up some as well, but maybe that was only Galveston. It seems like BMW is not keeping up with Production. Hopefully it's temporary, and not a sign of growing backlog over time for the folks still remaining. If true, then folks built in the past week may miss whatever ships comes next, regardless of when they shows up at this point. ![]() |

Now thanks to your and other’s efforts we have actual detailed data with breakdowns by port. Hoping this is easily found in searches by people ordering cars in later weeks. Thanks for all your contributions.

Those that have had their cars released to carrier...does that mean its scheduled and just awaiting pickup or that it has been picked up?
I asked my CA for an update and he said my car was released to the carrier yesterday. He is thinking 3-4 days for delivery. ![]() Based on Roo's timeline it doesn't seem to make sense as to why it would take 3-4 days as travel time difference is only an hour more than going to Tampa from the port. |

Baltimore update: this volume is probably why it didn’t work out for a delivery today.
Genius confirmed it’s been with trucking company and was supposed to ship today… but my dealership said it won’t arrive today and that they would update me Friday. Hoping that update is: “It’s here!” |

I called the Genius to see if my HAS work order had completed at the NJ VDC - it has not.
He said that their systems update about 4-5 times per day and it’s worth calling later today for the end of day status. They are maning the phones till 9PM ET. (In case anyone needs the latest possible before Turkey 🦃Time) 😎

There is another thread on this and lots of cars are coming with blank or no alignment sheets and crooked steering wheel. I hope ours come golden.

I talked to my CA today....
They said my dealer delivery estimate is Sun Nov 26th (previously, Genius said VPC departure is scheduled for Sat Nov 25th). However, my CA thinks the car will either arrive near end of day on Saturday or on Monday. They mentioned that they rarely get deliveries on Sundays because drivers typically want to be home on Sundays and so they rush to deliver things the same day they pick up (at least to my dealer), and if that's not possible, then it will arrive on Monday. Regardless, I have an appointment scheduled on Monday to start the process with the CA. Best case for driving it home is end of the day Wednesday but most likely on Thursday of next week. At my dealer, the title to the car typically arrives the day after the car arrives. So for me, day 1 (Mon): car arrives (initiate payment) day 2 (Tue): title arrives (car insurance should be ready, so they can stamp registration) day 3 (Wed): car registered (assuming insurance and payment are squared away) day 4 (Thu): appointment to pickup car (if not already picked up on Wed) |
