Let's change the grip mold a bit, say its new and improved, and charge more. Brilliant.

No problems with my Gen 3 either.

It was a serious question. I have only recently discovered this hobby and don't have a lot of experience. Sorry if it came off as sarcastic or condescending.

You shoot at Target in Stoufville? Own any firearms yet or still jumping through our hoops?

Unless you shoot off a machine rest, improved accuracy is a marketing tool for the average shooter.

While the lack of grooves should have little or no change in feel from a Gen 4, it somehow does feel "smaller" in my hand. Highly subjective.

The real change is the trickle down from the FBI contract pistol...the ambi slide stops and the flared magwell/front cutout, IMO. The chute is noticeably larger than my 4 in a side by side, and the front cutout makes for easier access to the magazine. The ambi stop will be welcome for lefties or shooting weak hand.

All good evolutionary changes.

My gen 4 g19 groups tighter than my gen 3 does.

I can keep them all in the 9 ring on the NRA 50 foot target, but some fall out of the black with my g19 gen 3.

Same sights. It's possible that is just me though. Never machine rested them to compare.

P30sk tighter still compared with gen 4.

Supposedly the gen 5 no longer uses a polygonal barrel, so if you happen to reload 9mm it would be a better option. Not that it makes sense these days as the ammo is so cheap.
Saw a case of federal for about $135 after rebate.

I've never confused my Gen4 G17 with a target gun. If I can make hits on the move on an 8" piece of steel at 25 yards, I'll be more than happy...

Yeah, it's conventional rifling with grooves and lands...again, what the FBI wanted for their Glock 17M pistol.

No matter how careful you are, one day you are going to let your guard down. And then it is your turn in the barrel.

Trust me - I know.
