When I was a fiber tech, the company that I worked for snagged a deal to do the network installation, security camera install, wiring of the cash registers and security systems for the stores in TN as they finished construction. I kid you not, we did 2-3 stores a week for almost 6 months. After 2 months we got to where we could knock one store out in 10 hours.

I'll give it to them though, they are pretty smart with their locations. Any major highway on the outskirts of any populated area is where they slap them up.

Sketchiest store we ever worked in was in down town Nashville. We knew there would be trouble when there were 2 liquor stores/check cashing places across the street accompanied by bars on the windows of the DG. There were literally people coming in stealing stuff off the shelves as the set up crews were stocking the store. People walking in off the street, acting like they worked there and then trying to get paid for walking around and helping (harassing) people actually working. When the set up crew leader would run them out of the store, they would steal whatever they could get their hands on as they walked out. I had a guy try to steal the ladder I was working on after I got down to get some crimps, while hanging the alarm outside the store. We spent more time trying to not get robbed than we did actually working. Strangest shit I've ever seen.
