He took all my info, apologized for the inconvenience, said it would be assigned to a supervisor within the hour and I should expect a call back early part of tomorrow.
As promised, I received a call from a Genius supervisor assuring me that the car has been completely built, there are no holds on the car and it is only awaiting ship assignment.

From what little I can see, the Morning Cello is scheduled to reach Veracruz on 7/12 and is the next one that makes a stop at Brunswick, GA, my arrival port.
I hope they get your car on that ship.

I believe the RCC Amsterdam sank, no movement in 4 days! Should we start building a 23? 🤣

For those on the RCC Amsterdam getting off at Baltimore have you been able to get any estimates delivery dates to your dealership? Genius and my dealership all just shrug their shoulders.

Hope our cars got off before the boat sank

I've noticed that sometimes the trackers don't update for a while. At least some of the ships I would look at going into VeraCruz. Some trackers would show a shipal at the port and some would show them still in the middle of the Gulf somewhere.

reading about these delays at the Baltimore port has me feeling relieved that'll be my stop. Hope the vessel makes its way out of there soon for everyone waiting!

Dude I saw that too!! The last time it moved was 7/2 I believe. Then it moved today, the tracker updated and showed it went from Baltimore to Baltimore!? 5 days to move a few hundred feet. Are you kidding me lol

This is worse then waiting a month to begin production…

My dealership/salesman said they have no idea what’s going on. Then he told me they have five M3/4’s on the same ship. I guess I have the civic of the group 🤣

Ah gotta love the home stretch! The Baltimore to Baltimore move after sitting there for 5 days really sums up the experience nicely lol. Really hope to take delivery next week.. break-in period will be equally as painful

I'm anticipating best case scenario 2 days at port and 1 day in transit to the dealership, worst case scenario a week at port and 3 days in transit to the dealership.

The port is about 5 hours from my dealership so I'm hoping once it hits a carrier I'll see it later that day! For some reason this wait feels longer than waiting for the other steps in the process lol

I agree,it’s the icing on the cake lol - I heard it takes 2/3 days to leave the port plus transport to your dealer. I’m hoping we get our cars next week 🤷🏻

Sooo me being me,I emailed Sallaum directly and asked what the deal is and asked why the ship is stuck in Baltimore!! lol - I’ll update again when she responds back. I asked for the new ETA of arrival in NJ. But so far this is what she said as of today:

“It is not stuck
We are currently loading in BWI
NJ loading is tomorrow”

Edit: She just responded back! I asked if the ETA of arrival in NJ is still 7/9.. she replied YES!

You are a saint!!!! My guess is that it'll be sometime in the afternoon/evening of the 9th unless they floor it out of the bay and up the east side lol. The max speed I saw it get up to is 15.4 knots which is about 17 mph, rough estimate puts the distance from the Baltimore port to NJ port at about 320 miles using the marinetraffic map and my knuckle to judge distance. This puts the average trip time from Baltimore to NJ at about 19 hours or so (18.82) at a consistent 15ish knots. Now I have no idea how marine traffic laws work or what speeds the boats are actually going so this is just a very very rough estimate. So if it left right now (2:21pm est), it would probably arrive sometime around 9:30am-9:45am or so.

I'm in Southern California, just checked with BMW Genius and was told my car is scheduled to arrive in Cali on the 11th. Not sure how long it would take for it to arrive at the dealership though.

Thanks brother lol - I did it for the whole RCC Amsterdam crew!

Nice calculations! 🤣 I was watching the speed for a bit,but I was too lazy to do the math. If they arrive in NJ Saturday or even Sunday. Then maybe our cars can be picked up Mon/tues by the transport company! 🤞🏻
