Finally starting to mod at 10k miles. Carbon tint. 18% all around and 35% windshield. Just installed m performance HAS. No spacers. I'll fill that gap with wheels, instead of vibration. Other things ordered, and en route

Looks, good but did you have issues with spacers vibrating? I’ve used spacers for the first time on g87.

Spacers shouldn't cause any vibrations if you use reputable ones. You also don't need to break the bank for good ones. The biggest culprit for vibrations is the hub wasn't fully cleaned of crust before installing the spacers, so they are not sitting flat against it. I've also seen people getting wheels powder coated and having some of the coating bleed onto the wheels mating surface not allowing them to sit flat against the hub. Lugs usually loosen up a bit right after installing wheels and need to torque down again after driving a bit or else that too will cause noise and/or vibrations.

2nd this. Had Macht Schnell’s on previous M2 and they deliver.

Yes. I had Macht schnell spacers, extended lugs, very clean hubs, and still felt more vibration than having none, on my previous m4, and m2c. Explaining to me how or why they shouldn't vibrate, doesn't negate the fact that they did. I've had turner, and Macht schnell. Same thing. Same process. Same care. Cheers y'all.

Is this set at the standard height (10mm?)? Or did you go lower when you had it installed? I'm going to be doing the MP HAS in a few weeks and trying to get an idea on where I want it set initially.

It blocks about 20% of your rear-view vision, but it looks cool, so who cares.

The grills are all from Stradale Design,

I didn't buy the oil cooler guard yet, but I think I will soon.
Shipping didn't take longer than anything else.

How do I keep it that clean? It's winter in Canada and I don't care, lol.
You sure like to say "I don't care" a lot. So you must actually care. LOL I I never said the real spoiler looks cool. Was just wondering since I've never seen it before.

It's as low as they go. 20 mm I believe. Maybe 20 and 25? Drove around for 100+ miles today. I love how it looks now, vs stock.

Got around to Dyno the car today to evaluate the Dahler piggyback.
On pump 93 gas.
Tuner on vs off.
On car:
Intake MST
Catted downpipes AA
Midpipe Valvetronic
Kies chargepipe

496hp vs 581hp.

Nice gains. I’m satisfied.

Dang, that must feel unreal. Just so I'm clear, 496hp was stock tune but with those bolt ons? I think that is what you are saying above but wanted to make sure.

That’s odd- I’ve never heard of this issue. Are you sure there wasn’t any other reasons that could have possibly caused this? It’s not a common thing that I’ve heard of.

That is correct. Stock map with bolt ons.
On a different day previously stock map with bolt ons ran in 490s hp. Today did slightly better at 496. Different conditions/gas I presume.
Difficult to evaluate accuracy of absolute hp on any given Dyno, but tuner without doubt adds 80+ hp.
Here is previous stock oem map runs with bolt ons.

That’s impressive. What are your impressions of the tune other than just HP gains? Notice any difference in other areas on road? Does it get rid of pedal lag completely?

Very little here not to like.
Below 3500rpm it behaves close to stock so drivability is preserved.
Once you hit it, it punches hard as you can see from graph. Need to be more mindful of gear and speed, as you can spin wheels well into 3 rd gear. Looking forward to getting summer tires back on. Launching is tricky with these winter shoes. Just wants to spin all through 2nd if they’re cold.
Otherwise, it’s amazing. Much punchier in 6th at highway speeds 80+ which I think stock map was deficient there.
Pedal response is good, but I like sport setting anyway, and intake I think also slightly improved that already.
