VIR stands for Vehicle Information Report. You cannot get this yourself, you need to ask your CA to run/provide. That is the most accurate and up-to-date information on your car.

No, my CA had left and said he would check on Monday when he was back in the office.

Maybe check to see if your CA is working today and ask them to run a VIR aka Vehicle Information Report for you.

I found a Week 42 allocation at true MSRP on Autotrader no less, and at a dealer only 90 miles away.

The auto trader ad was an invite to configure an M2, which I ignored for several days, because I thought it was just a come on. But I eventually took a shot, filled in the configuration request on auto trader, and a day later I had my allocation with a production code.

Again, thanks to spdandpwr and AZG87 for the offers of assistance.

So as long as my build remains on schedule for a Week 42 build, the only question to be resolved is whether I take the risk of doing PCD in late November or early December and driving back to the snow belt in upstate New York.
