Once you hit it, it punches hard as you can see from graph. Need to be more mindful of gear and speed, as you can spin wheels well into 3 rd gear. Looking forward to getting summer tires back on. Launching is tricky with these winter shoes. Just wants to spin all through 2nd if they’re cold.
Otherwise, it’s amazing. Much punchier in 6th at highway speeds 80+ which I think stock map was deficient there.
Pedal response is good, but I like sport setting anyway, and intake I think also slightly improved that already.
Was just going to ask about how it drives. I'm so tempted to do some light tuning but don't want to get into traction-terrorism. One of the main reasons I sold my last car was because I hated the way it became when I tuned it.

But dang I bet that 580 to the wheels feels insane and that might be worth having some traction opportunities.....

At speed it’s awesome. Lower gear hooning will I’m sure improve once back on proper tire after the winter. It’s an amazing chassis. I personally enjoy overpowered RWD manual car.

I am assuming you have a ZF8? Im hearing with the 6MT, you get major clutch slip after 550hp which frightens me a bit. I so badly want to tune, but that coupled with warranty issues make me uneasy. And then I see people with your reaction and get jealous lol.

6 speed.
I’ll look for the slip, hopefully not. Maybe I’ll think about clutch upgrade. I’d be more worried with torque over 550.

Well you give me hope that it’s not a huge issue. Assuming you’re over 600 eventually, a new flywheel would for sure benefit. Keep us updated how it goes!

I had the same. Switched the spacers out and fixed. I’m sure an occasional imbalanced spacer gets through QC and it doesn’t take much to feel it. If everything is installed clean and centered and you have a vibration, it’s the spacer.

Also weigh the lugs and try and balance them, I’ve had a few extended lugs 3-4 g heavier than others doesn’t seem like much but if 2 of the heavier ones end up on the same wheel, could cause it. Some of the lugs that come with these are “good enough” but perhaps not the best.

Just dropped my car off at the dealer for the break in service. As I was approaching the dealer the odometer ticked to 1199 miles. Of course I drove around the lot until it read 1200 then pulled into the service area.

Looking forward to flooring it in lower gears and juicing it up to redline. A few more hours until go time.

For those who have done this before, how long did it take from when your DME arrived in Femto to get back into your hands? I'm hoping I can get this thing back ASAP so I can spend my vacation next week dialing the car in.

Still waiting on my custom beadlocks from VFC. Those should be ready in the next few weeks.
How much was it to send it yourself vs a company doing it

Got my car back from break-in service. Had a great experience with my dealer. They ordered me those rear caliper "M" clips and threw them on the car free of charge. And when picking up my car in the service area there were a couple younger lot kids that were geeking out and asking questions about the car.

Just my luck it started snowing on my way home. The car does feel really strong but the wetness and coldness of the roads didnt allow for much experimentation hammering it in 1st and 2nd gear. Ok, I totally did that and lots of wheel spin happened. Looks like 50's early next week so I will go out and play again very soon.
