Another disappointing draw for Chelsea. They have every right to be upset about the match not getting postponed with all the COVID craziness going on and being depleted.

Referee in the Liv Tot game completely lost the plot. Guy should never be allowed on a pitch again.

that seems to be the prevailing sentiment of everything i'm reading. i was following the match via twitter (out running errands and dont have peacock premium anyway).

not sure how VAR missed that handball either!!!

Last week, including the midweek games, there were 9 games postponed. Two weekends ago it was 1 postponed game. I don't know how those games will be put back on the schedule, but I hate seeing the postponed games played because teams will treat those games as a league cup game against 3rd tier team.

Don't think they'll suspend the EPL. Doesn't seem many players are symptomatic.

Does it matter whether they're symptomatic or not though? They're being pulled from matches regardless.

Yeah but i think they're just gonna keep doing this sort of ad hoc postponement thing because there's not a big danger for the players.

With Chelsea's form though, i can see why you'd want the season paused.

Yeah I'm not real pleased about losing all of our forwards one bit. I don't know what to make of all of this shit going on with Omicron but the EU specifically speaking is exploding and wreaking havoc on everything. We're going to start seeing it here in the US very soon. Well it has actually begun already and we're just seeing the tip of the iceberg. Sports is one thing but it's impacting everything.

On a side note it looks like NBCSN is shuttering at the end of this month. That's unfortunate since I was able to watch a lot of EPL games on that network. Seems they may shift some of that coverage void over to the other NBC channel, Peacock. I'm not a big fan of Peacock though. It doesn't allow for recording live broadcasts AFAIK and I have to wait until the next day to see a match which is a waste of time.

Damn I had no idea! But the EPL TV Contract in the states is current out for bid isn’t it? I wonder if this will give a leg up to another network?

There have always been some games on USA. I think more games are going to Peacock in lieu of NBCSN which sucks.

spurs absolutely look like a different club. i never fully bought in to their hot start at the beginning of the season, but i'm becoming a believer in this conte-led resurgence.

moura has been underutilized for the past 3 seasons...if conte gets him on track this club has a dangerous front three.

I like that Conte made Tottenham a better team now. 4th place is going to be a tight race, 3 teams and maybe 4 with West Ham for one spot. And the champion this season is going down to the wire. It's shaping up to a season for the ages I think.

usually it's poppin but been so boring the last 2 weeks. Anyways got a game against Burnely today so i anticipate a slog. We tied to a complete garbage side in Newcastle. Played like utter shite.
